Job Overview
The Center for the Study of Organized Hate (CSOH) is seeking an experienced researcher for its Violence, Extremism, and Radicalization Program (VERP) to lead impactful research on hate, extremism, and disinformation in South Asia. This role requires in-depth fieldwork experience, analytical skills, and a strong interest in studying violence and radicalization dynamics in the region. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth field research on regional hate, extremism, violence and disinformation trends
- Draft reports, policy briefs, and analytical articles
- Provide insights into socio-political dynamics impacting regional extremism
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects
Qualifications and Skills
- Masters degree or above in Political Science, Public Policy, Hate Studies or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in violence and extremism research in South Asia
- Strong field research, analytical, and writing skills
- Proven field research experience in South Asia
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Report writing and policy analysis skills
- Interest in public policy (preferred)
