The Center for the Study of Organized Hate (CSOH) has released a new report titled “Streaming Violence: How Instagram Fuels Cow Vigilantism in India.” The report examines the confluence of social media, cow vigilantism, and anti-minority violence in India and highlights Meta, Instagram’s parent company’s complicity.
Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd, at 9:00 AM EST / 7:30 PM IST for a critical discussion on how Instagram fuels cow vigilantism and extremist ideologies in India. We will explore the connection between online hate speech and real-world violence, its impact on minority communities, and Big Tech’s responsibility in addressing these pressing issues.
